Writing a convincing Product Review

Writing a product review is by far the best way to endorse or promote a product or service. Whether it is your own product or one that you promote, writing a candid, personal review is what most often makes the sale and sets you apart from other, less ambitious marketers.

Of course, it goes without saying that the best product review comes from someone who has personal experience with the product. Having used a product yourself makes your endorsement much more believable and your review will reflect that.
Among other things a good product review will note how well the product delivers on its promises, how well it achieves its goals and if it’s really a good value.

Here are a few additional tips that will help you write a product review that is not only persuasive but also gives the reader useful information:

1. This Is Not A Sales Pitch
First of all, a product review should never be “salesy” or full of hype, instead, include honest to goodness feelings, benefits and considerations.

2. Use a friendly, relaxed writing style
Write as if you're writing a letter to a friend. Keep it simple, light and in your own words.

If you were talking to your neighbor or friend about a product you purchased, you wouldn't be making a sales pitch; instead you would be telling them just what you experienced.

3. Clearly and Accurately Describe the Product or Service
This should be about what the product does and how it works. Include features and benefits but keep your focus on the benefits.

You can include itemized features but for anyone promoting other people’s products, describing the features is better left for the product’s sales page.

Your audience is better served by highlighting the benefits and how the product helped you personally.

4. Promote with Authority and Experience
If you are experienced in your trade or business and are promoting a product related to your business, then remind your readers of who you are and how long you've been in your position doing what you do. This gives credence to why your opinion matters and it will carry more weight.

5. Highlight the Problems and Build up the solution
If you’re promoting a product that resolves a problem, try describing the problem by building emotion around it by making the reader feel the discomfort of the problem. Once you’ve made your viewer feel the pain, so to speak, then begin to show them how the product can come to their rescue.

For example, let's say you're promoting article submission software. Begin by describing in some detail the problems and obstacles you’ve encountered when submitting articles manually.

Include points that your reader can really relate to like all the work involved, the additional time required and the hardships those problems presented. If you can, include a personal story that your reader can identify with.

Once you’ve described the problem and built emotion with your reader, begin to introduce the product and how it has resolved those problems for you. This is very effective in getting your reader to feel the pain and then appreciate the solution.

6. Use Product Comparisons
Product reviews work very well when comparing products or services.

For example, you may have used two or three similar products but perhaps you found one product stood out among the rest. Writing a comparative review of these products by making a clear distinction on how they differ and noting the benefits works very well.

If you can be clear on the differences and be specific as to why you liked one product over the other, you can often tip potential buyers into actually making a purchase.

7. Describe exactly who the product is for
Clearly describe what type of person or business might use the product. If the product or service requires a particular knowledge or prerequisite before purchasing, be clear about that. Your viewers won’t be misled and they will appreciate your honesty.

8. Describe what you Don’t Like
A good product review isn’t all perfect and wonderful. That’s not realistic, there’s always room for improvement. Of course the improvements should be minor and not impact the use or effectiveness of the product, however touching on small imperfections gives your review a more realistic approach. Again, your readers will appreciate your candid honesty.

9. In Conclusion
Sum up your experiences and thoughts on the product. How has the product or service added to your bottom line? Did the product deliver on its goals and promises? Was it a good value for the money?

If the product offers a free trial, free shipping or money back guarantee, include those items as well.

10. Offer a Final Incentive
Once your product review is completed, it’s a nice touch to close with a discount or coupon offer. If you are promoting someone else’s product, check with the product creators and ask if they have any offers you can place in your review. This is often a nice incentive to help potential buyers make the purchase.

In summary, your goal in delivering an effective product review is to give your reader as much honest, realistic information on how the product or service will help them by showing how valuable it’s been for you.

How to Write an Effective Product Review

Learning affiliate marketing basics is actually quite a bit different than traditional sales tactics, such as "door to door" or telemarketing, for example. This is actually a bit of a disadvantage for some journeyman sales persons, since you're actually leaving the majority of the selling up to the merchant that whose products you're promoting. So how do you actually get people to spend money with you online if you're not "selling" them? It's called "pre-selling" and it works like a charm.

The best way to get someones attention that is looking for information online is to write an honest product review. Yes, this takes a little time to do and, yes, it means that you'll need to actually read or use the product before you can honestly review it, however, an honest review of a decent product can potentially pay you dividends for months or even years to come. Here's how.

For one thing, if you write an honest, unbiased review, you'll be including both the things that you liked and DIDN'T like about the product. Keep in mind that you're not selling anything here, only reviewing and that means complete 100% honestly. You should be honest anyway, but that's beside the point.

Here's how to do it.

Do some basic keyword research by using a free keyword tool, such as Google or Wordtracker's top 100. Find some keywords that are related to the product that you're reviewing. Don't overdo it with these. The idea is to build a themed page that is keyword optimized in order for the search engines to find and rank it. Make sure to put the product name within the review apx 3-4 times on a 400-500 word review.

Start off with an opening statement, preferably by focusing on a problem, how you experienced the problem and then offer the product as a possible solution.

That's opening statement, article body, summary and a strong call to action, such as "if xyz has been a problem for you, I recommend you visit xyzcompany.com right away to see if they can help you, like they did me".

That's just an example, assuming, of course, that the product actually helped you. Some people won't review a product that they don't care for, which makes sense because they not only won't make money by giving a bad review, they also may want to promote other products from that merchant later on. I'll leave that decision up to you.

There you have it. Read or use the product, do a bit of simple keyword research
, write an honest, unbiased review and end it with a strong "nudge" to either sign up for your list, by offering a free product or course (recommended) or simply send them directly to the merchant's site through your affiliate link. Now get to work!

Product Review Web Traffic

Cool site builds an opt-in list for you

Web Traffic Juggernaut is a new site that says it guarantees more web visitors and online advertising with very little effort or cost. So I decided to put it to the test...

My first impression was the site looks professional and clean, with an attractive look and feel. It is easy to read and understand. Joining the site was easy and painless--they do offer 2 upgrade options but they are not required to gain the benefits.

The Members Area is very well laid out and intuitive--I could figure out what to do after only a few minutes and was able to get up & running in less than 5 minutes. Inside the site, you create links and ads--the links you simply enter any URL links you use into the generator and it transforms them into "Juggernaut" links. You create ads for anything you want to promote using the Juggernaut Ad Generator, which is very easy to use. You can create as many links and as many ads as you like. And they are organized in a logical way--links are displayed in the order you create them but also your 5 most recent links appear on the main page for quick reference. Also, since the link generator is the tool you'll use most, it is also right at the top of the main page when you login. Very smart!

After you've created at least 1 link and 1 ad you can start to generate traffic. Just use and promote the new Juggernaut link instead of the original source link you had. Every time the Juggernaut link is clicked, the page loads followed by a small ad window in the lower right corner. It displays 3 ads PLUS an image with your affiliate link that goes back to Juggernaut. So if anyone clicks the Juggernaut image they see the site, and if they signup they become your referral. It's a great viral feature because you can build referrals without even trying to just by using the site.

Now every time the ad window displays (your Juggernaut links get clicked) you earn credits that get YOUR ad displayed in the ad windows when other members' links get clicked. So the more clicks, the more times your ads get displayed.

And this works virally--meaning as you make referrals into Juggernaut (either by promoting it or just using it and visitors click the Juggernaut image on the ad window to join) you also earn ad credits on THEIR link clicks. And this works up to 5 levels deep. So you can create a massive amount of free ad views and web traffic by referring others to Juggernaut also.

I didn't get to test the full effect of a big downline yet (I just got the tool) but I can tell you the rest of the site works exactly as stated--my links got clicked, I earned credits, and my ads got displayed. Juggernaut even tracked my results so I know how many clicks and how many ad displays. That was an impressive unadvertised extra feature.

There is one more benefit and feature which might be the best of them all--down line emailing. You can email your down line with offers, promotions, or whatever you like, and here is where Juggernaut really shines. They took time to make the emailing often enough that it's valuable as a user, but no so often that it's a burden to your down line. But the best part about this feature (and actually the credit earning too) is that they use a unique dual-matrix technology that builds your down line in 2 ways. First is the typical way--you refer members, who then refer members, etc. But the 2nd matrix is a "forced matrix" that places all new members in a down line in sequential order. Without getting technical, what it means is that if you join and just stay a member (even if you don't do anything) your down line will grow automatically because new members will fill in your forced matrix. And you earn credits on them too. Now THAT's cool.

Overall I have to say I am impressed with Web Traffic Juggernaut. It is simple yet powerful, and delivers on its promises. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to increase traffic and advertising.

Design Your Website for Instant Product Reviews

In the same manner as color bears great significance in our daily lives, so too does color play an essential role when designing a website. Design for color-blind browsers and think of the color combination that you use. Similarly, think about the navigation and how the site will work, why users will come to your site etc. This will give you greater insight to what you need to achieve when designing a new website.
This is a way lower as compared to what a web designer would ask you for designing your website, not to mention the time factor.

How to minimize issues during check-out? Design your website for instant product reviews and actual delivery time and scheduling fast delivery of orders and pick-up of returns. When designing your site, put into mind a website that is homey. Navigation is one of the most important aspects of designing your website. Use website templates if you don't have any designing flair. The website designing company which you choose to use will be able to do this for you, as this is something which they are very familiar with.

And you can find freelancers to take on just about any other non-administrative project you can think of -designing your website, writing a business plan, sending out press releases, you name it. One week, for instance, they could be networking, another designing a leaflet, another distributing it, for more details visit to www.instant-website-security.com and another updating your website. Website redesign firms use high speed connections while designing their original store so they rarely see the increase in page load times.

Here are fast track methods to make your job of designing and building a website a lot easier - All you have to do is plan one page, your homepage, and then clone all your other 2nd and 3rd level pages. The website designing company which you choose to use should be able to do this for you, as this is something which they are very familiar with.

By avoiding this concern and designing your website with your user’s goals and needs in mind, you will create a more positive user experience. If you are designing or maintaining your website, then learn about Meta tags. There are some very important things you must do SEO-wise while designing your website. It’s simple to get caught up in the day to day mechanics of designing and maintaining a website and poor organization just makes the job harder.

Before designing your website, you should be aware of all the components that go into successful development and how to use them to your best advantage. Driving high traffic to your site is important, but what's even more important, is designing a website that makes them stay.

Propel Business Productivity in 5 Steps

The actions for increased productivity do not need to be complicated, either. Sometimes the most effective actions for business productivity are simply reminders of age old practices. Propel ahead in business with these 5 recommended steps to propel business productivity.

#1: Set Goals, Goals, Goals!

Setting short and long term goals are essential to maximize business success and productivity. It is the gage to measure the worth of your daily effort. As with any gage, you'll need to review the list of short and long term goals frequently, to remind yourself where you are today and where you will be in the future.

#2: Always Accountability

What this means is that because we can only control our own decisions, not the economy around us, we are responsible for our own success. Increasing personal accountability can lead to greater business productivity, so ask for more of it of yourself and others around you will probably do the same.

#3: Follow Up

If all our leads and conversations stopped after just one conversation, then what business would be achieved? If a sale is closed after one conversation, congratulations! But, most of the time, follow up is required to sustain meaningful and mutually beneficial business relationships. So, pick up the phone, send out the email or knock on that door - and always follow up one conversation with another, to keep connected and to keep business momentum moving forward.

#4: It's Time for Feedback!

Feedback from clients, co-workers, supervisors, and just about everyone else who you come into contact with during a business day will facilitate your own accountability.

#5: Attitude of Gratitude

Being respectful of other people's time is a bit of a lost art, in this age of super speed internet conversation. Saying thank you never goes out of style. Even a criticism is an opportunity for a little self-reflection - which may lead to some adjustments that really make a positive difference in your overall business operations.

The bottom line truly is: the attitude of gratitude always aligns us for the next best action towards maximum business success and productivity. Do what it takes to get better: analyze and better your behavior in business, get more education, associate with great people. You will begin to feel the positive rewards of greater productivity in your business by leveraging the proper steps to greater business productivity.

Affiliates Strategies to Earn You Cash by Online Product Reviews

Do you know that you can earn thousands of dollars every single month just writing affiliate reviews on the Internet?

You don't even need to own your own website to do this. I mean that you can literally start right now, after you finish reading this article and earn money without spending a cent in advertising.

I coach people to do this all the time, and I am going to teach you how to do it step by step. Are you ready?

Let's start. When you finished with this step by step plan, you will be able to write your profit pulling review in minutes.

Tip 1: Blogger.com

Head over blogger.com and set up a blog. It won't cost you a dime, and search engine (especially Google) love these blogs.

Blogger.com belongs to Google... No wonder why they like them. This is important for the rest of this tactic because you should get top ranking fast.

Tip 2: Clickbank.com

Clickbank is an affiliate network with more than ten thousands digital products.

You have hundreds of niche markets at your fingertips, and all that you need to do is choose the market and then pick the hoplinks (your affiliate link) for the top three best selling products.

I know, you may be wondering why I tell you to choose the products with more competition? It's because if people are already buying, you won't have difficulty to take your share of the pie. Still with me?

In other words, it is much more difficult to try to sell a product when you are not sure people will buy it. I hope this make sense.

If you are in the health niche for example, click on the clickbank marketplace link, and then choose the top three products in this niche.

Tip 3: Buy the ebook

Ebooks on clickbank
are dead cheap, and if you don't have the money, just ask the merchant. Very often, he will give you his book for free. I've just did it last month for a forex software, and the owner just send me an email with the download link. It works, so try it.

Once you have these three element in place, you are ready to write your money making review.

All that you need to do is repeat this process over and over.

Earn Cash by Recommending Products Online

If you already visited Amazon, CNET or any other popular consumer website, you may already know what is a review. What I want to demonstrate here is the two kind of reviews on the Internet and how you can earn money from them.

These websites have the most traffic on the Internet because people always need to see what others have to say before they make a buying decision.

Remember the last time you bought something (online or offline), I'm almost sure you searched for someone else advice. Whether it' a friend or the salesman itself, you had to speak with someone to find out is the product was really made for you.

It happens the same way online. Whenever people come to a website that sells something, they have objections. They need to trust the product or service they are going to buy.

For this, they will read reviews of the products before they make their final purchase decision.

There are two kind of reviews on the Internet.

The first is a review made by the website owner. Basically, someone created a website, and added a link to a product he is reviewing for his reader.

Most of the time, the website owner does this for a profit. I mean that if you read the review on his website, then you click on his link and buy something, he will earn a percentage (commission) of the sales amount.

This is called affiliate marketing.

The problem with this kind of review is that sometime, the marketer will not tell the truth because his motivation is money, and not the end result for the website visitor.

Unfortunately, this happens all the time.

Don't get me wrong, this only represent a very small percentage of the webmasters who review products online.

The second type of reviews is called user generated reviews.

This type is the best because it's not the webmaster who is reviewing the products on the website but the consumer: you and others.

You are sure that real people used the product and therefore, you can trust the review and know more about the features and benefits of what you are going to buy.

Good, but how can you earn money from this as an affiliate marketer?

You need to mix the two to earn the maximum!

You set up a web 2.0 website with your affiliate links and just let people add the review on the site for you automatically.

There are several CMS platforms that allows to do this like Joomla and Wordpress for example.

This is really powerful and you should try it this week in your niche market.

Product Reviews for Ecommerce and its importants

Buying products online has a bad reputation from the many people who have really treated their customers badly. Since you can not just walk into a store talk directly to the manager or force the owners to speak with you, you are limited to phone calls, emails, or maybe not even this much in some cases. People online will not hesitate to tell others about their poor experiences to keep others from buying from any company that did not treat them right.

Since people are so skeptical of online businesses, they will frequently visit review sites before ever making a purchase. In fact, some will go to the degree of going to review sites before ever checking out their products or going to their website. For example, lets say I know that hundreds of business are selling computers online. I want to go with one of the more reputable businesses, so I will go find reviews on sites. Then I may go to their site and see if they have a computer that I am looking for. This is not an uncommon practice which means that your reviews can be crucial to your businesses success.

Reviews can help your ecommerce business gain credibility in the marketplace. This is especially the case if you are in a packed market where you are competing with several businesses. You should look forward to having numerous reviews, even if all of them are not positive. Others will note that you are doing business with other people, and therefore, you are not new to shipping items properly or handling online buyers.

The biggest thing you want to do online is create a buzz about your products or services. You want others to talk about what you are doing, how you treated them, and about where they purchased their product or service. This is referred to as “going viral”. If you find that others are talking about your business without you having to force them into a conversation, you will likely find your traffic growing substantially, and in return, more conversions into sales. This is the overall goal, and it can be jump started by positive reviews about your business.

So you may be asking, how do I get positive reviews or keep from getting negative ones? The biggest key to keeping your business on track is to go above and beyond in customer service. There is no doubt that you will run into some problems on occasion. You may ship a product and it might get smashed in shipping. You might get an email that they even received the wrong product. You will have some angry customers every now and then but you have to find the best way to deal with them. This may cost you some money out of your pocket, but this is far better than scratching it up as an unsatisfied customer. Rather, send them a free shirt, if you having shipping issues, let them mail it back, you cover costs, send the next item as a high priority mail and try to get it done as quickly as possible. You will find that instead of a negative review, they will more than likely take what was a bad situation and let others know how well you treated them when things were out of your own control. When going above and beyond what you have to do, you will see the appreciation given from your online buyers.

Product Reviews And Ecommerce

shopping online is at an all time high and it is foretasted to increase exponentially. This is because shopping online is easy, fast, and comparing prices is a cinch. The one drawback is that shoppers can’t feel the item in their hands. That’s where product reviews come into play. With product reviews shoppers are able to read what others thought about the item they purchased. The reason this is helpful is because shoppers are able to see what people thought the upside of the item was as well as the drawbacks. Sometimes, the reviews will contain enough information to help a shopper make a final decision.

For example, if someone buys a piece of jewelry online and then writes a review about how they returned it because it looked like costume jeweler then this will give others an idea of what they are purchasing. While it initially sounds like a bad review, those who are looking for costume jewelry will find it to benefit them in a positive way. Overall, everyone should read product reviews of an item before they make a purchase.

Also, there are professional product reviews that may be found online. These are reviews that professionals have written regarding the way the product actually works, feels, and performs. Generally, you can find product reviews of this type on high end electronics, games, software, and the like. Many of the websites that host these types of reviews also give the item a star rating and then let the site users rate the product, too. In many cases, you will find the professionals rank the item lower than everyday users. Why? Simply because they expect more! Nevertheless, reading these product reviews will help you get a good understanding about a particular item and whether it works for your circumstances or not. This is especially the case when it comes to software, computers, and related products. Many of the ratings are based on an individuals’ experience s with the item in question. When the reviewer explains in detail why a product works, it why it doesn’t work, then this arms you with the information you need to make a good decision.

Overall, product reviews are a wonderful way to make shopping online a positive experience and will allow you to buy products that fit in with your needs. Take care not to give much thought to reviews that have a star rating but no reason why. This is important because a 5 star rating with no review doesn’t mean anything. If it was so great, why can’t the reviewer say what was great about it? Similarly, a single star rating shouldn’t be thought about too much either because if the item was so bad the buyer should have been able to put that into words. There are some reviews on the web that are artificial and made up, but many of them are real so do your research before shopping online. It will be worth it!

Scamed Home Business Review Sites

Home Business Review websites are the current rage in the Internet marketing world and many including myself use them. But, the questions is do the majority of them provide solid information or are they just another self-serving home business scam?

The Good

Many of the Home Business Review sites provide some valuable content and for the new or seasoned home business owner provide a quick yet informative glimpse into many of the online and home based opportunities available today.

For the Internet marketer, business review sites provide an opportunity to place higher on the search engines and divide their marketing campaigns into broader areas in which to attract visitors to their sites. This concept and how it actually works is slightly complicated for the beginner, but easily grasped by most who have spent a while in the Internet marketing field.

The Bad

Now that you have attracted a visitor to your review site, you may potentially lose that visitor to a home business or opportunity other than yours.

Here’s why: You attracted a visitor to your site to read a review on some GURU or home business opportunity, your betting on the fact that the visitor will want to see what you’re doing and at least take a look at your business. Problem is, that may never happen and they will leave your site to find more information on the GURU or home business. For me, it’s a chance I’m willing to take.

The Ugly

Many reviewers are not honest and will provide bad if not horrible reviews on every home business opportunity or GURU they review. SO, here’s a tip, go through a few of the reviews on each site. If nothing is recommended as a legitimate home business opportunity or Guru other than what’s making the reviewer a million dollars today, look somewhere else.

The hope with most, if not all of these review sites is that you will find the reviewers opportunity most interesting and sign up with them. Yes it is self-serving, but if the reviewer is ethical you will find more than a few of the home business or GURU reviews are favorable.

So, what does all this mean for someone searching home business review sites for a new opportunity? All of them are slightly biased, mine included. But, an ethical reviewer will provide good honest content on all of their reviews. But the bottom line is this is only an opinion. I’ve had great success with some businesses and crashed and burned with others. But I’ll bet the businesses that I found to be horrible, someone somewhere made a ton of money from; get the picture?

Truth is, there are quite a few home businesses that are making people a good amount of money and still producing, even in a down economy. Many of the GURU’s, the people at the top, have great marketing ideas, just one of which may be worth its weight in gold to you.

In conclusion, if you find a home business opportunity with favorable reviews, look further, use common sense and trust you gut. If the reviewer doesn’t blast every home business opportunity other than their own, chances are their reviews (although they are only and opinion) are pretty ethical.

Sign of good Buyer – Checks for Reviews

When financial resources begin to become scarce, the buying market starts to wise up and become very price conscious of their purchases. This makes it hard for many companies to persuade them to see the real value of their products and services. Opinionated customers tend to share information and insights on good deals and the best buys. This is also applicable in businesses dealings wherein a supplier with good reviews will earn the trust and business of a company. Trust is a very importance issue during recessional financial situations and hence must be carefully addressed by companies who wish to survive the current economic slump.

One good way to address the issue of convincing wise buyers to prefer your brand is through reviews.

Here are some of the key factors that wise buyers look for in a review as indicators of honest content.

1. Source

A wise buyer considers the originator of a review to validate its authenticity. business owners should clearly state their company names. Wise buyers will follow that trail and if the source checks out, then the content is valid for consideration.

2. Comment

It is important to wise buyers that the company they are buying from has no bad records. One bad review is all they need to feel unattached to your business.

3. Exemption

A review content that has an exemption is a sign of a very good source of information. This is because a comment that purely praises can be doubtful, but when it has a “but”, “although” or “maybe”, the commentator reviewed both negative and positive sides of their services. Overall it must remain a positive comment and the exemptions must be minimal to gain more business.

4. Specific Detailed Examples

It is also nice to mention specific details to the jobs done for a customer in order for others to relate to its content. reviews containing a balanced amount of information that customers can connect with. People and business that share a specific situation like a brochure they need done with 3 panels and full color. Those mentions build the confidence level of a review.

5. Visual Samples

Mentioning the specific details of the jobs done for others may not be enough to seal the deal for some buyers. In cases like these, reviews combined a sample of the print project mentioned in the content reviewed. Now not only would the buyer see the honesty in the review, but also see the results of the job done.

Benefits of a Good Review

When you want to buy something, you normally ask family and friends for their opinions. They in turn give you their insight regarding your intended purchase. These important and vital pieces of advice from your closest peers carry deeper value than those of a salesman inside any store. Depending on the reliability of the source and their knowledge of the topic, the advice from a real person still outweighs paid commentary.

Many other companies have yet to discover the many advantages of a good review like uprinting reviews. That is why I have written this article to help enlighten you about why it’s important for your business to get honest reviews.

1. A good review is a source of pride
Getting praised for doing a good job instills a sense of pride and joy on anyone. That is why a good review can give your company a sense of pride and maintain high levels of quality.

2. A good review is a good survey source
Getting a good review also answers key questions on how the company is performing. Some comments specifically mention the strong points of a business.

3. A good review is the best advertisement
As long as the review is unbiased, it is the best kind of advertisement around. Not only can people relate to the comments, but also build an empathic attachment with the commentator.

It is however important that these reviews be carefully monitored and the standards that have made your company a success upheld. A negative review can be a lethal to your company, but properly maintained, you can reap the rewards of high sales and brand popularity.

Major Types of Reviews

Reviews are remarks made on a subject that has been experienced by the author directly. Given the author’s expertise in the field, a credible summary of his level of satisfaction can be made. Reviews have a convincing power upon its readers because of the degree of knowledge the author has about the subject. Thus, it is important that we know the types of reviews in order to learn which one best suits the interest we want to learn.

Here we take into example a printing product review as the basis of our explanation.

Abstract Review

An abstract review revolves around emotions and perceptions. Knowledge of the arts and humanities are absolute in this field and serve as the foundation for its criteria. It is called abstract because it is not universal. There is no formal guideline on how it is to be critiqued or judged for review. Abstract reviews follow no form and can creatively express its content through ratings.

Financial Review

A financial review revolves around numbers and figures. It is mainly used in accounting practices to assesses the company’s level of stability and determine income and expenditure levels. A financial review’s rules are absolute and follow a strict code of practices mandated by a governing body.

There are many other forms of reviews that can be used for different purposes. Product reviews for example can be conducted with either abstract or financial angles. Reviews given by customers are mostly abstract yet carry financial implications. The significance of these reviews will only show merit if read by people interested in printing, but will give readers their fair share of reviews from different perspectives.

When the review tackles the costs of producing the print materials, the uprinting review can be classified as financial. The review’s computations follow mathematical rules and apply accurate scientific methods to develop its content.

Should the review tackle quality of the print or the value of its design, the uprinting review becomes abstract because the degree of acceptance on the part of author may be applicable only to himself.

Fake Review Scams

Online marketers and people trying to make a buck off the internet are always taking advantage of easy-to-market affiliate programs, especially those being offered by Clickbank. Clickbank is a place to find easy-to-sell digital products allowing you to turn a profit without having to own a website.. If you send a buying customer to one of their pages through an “affiliate link” and a sale is made, your hyperlink makes the connection and you just pulled in usually 50% or more of the profit. Digital products, such as ebooks and software, offer their affiliates such a high profit margin because they have no overhead. They are transmitted digitally over the internet from the sales page to the buyer's computer so there are no shipping costs. The product itself is digital and can hardly be considered tangible, so there are no associated production costs either. The high profit margin is the reason why these products sell so well. Plenty of webmasters and entrepreneurs are willing to sell them for an extra source of revenue. There are even products sold on Clickbank which teach people how to market and sell Clickbank products!

You can find these products promoted on legitimate websites owned by internet gurus as additional revenue streams. It is a great way to make an extra dollar. If a person leaves a website and doesn't buy anything, the savvy website owner might as well give them another chance to visit an affiliate website and gain more potential for making money. But unfortunately, most people are using keyword advertising, specifically with Google Adwords, to spam the internet with affiliate product advertisements. It has become so prevalent that is has actually become a nuisance. Google supposedly puts in measures to prevent spam on their search engines results with specific algorithms, but they are allowing people to take over their paid search results and market the same products over and over and over with these affiliate product advertisements on their Adwords program. The only benefit seems to be for Google. They are making a killing. Take the top selling 20 products on Clickbank. You can find about 100 different ads for the same product on Google Adwords with certain key term searches.

First of all, the customer should be given a choice. But because these key terms are so popular, they are pushing the price of Google Adwords up and only the keyword elite can afford them. Smaller business owners are no longer able to afford the same key terms for their own legitimate products or websites on Google Adwords. The prices for small ads on Adwords has now reached a ridiculous rate for popular search terms and the conversion rates compared to cost is now at a point where they are ineffective and worthless.

There is another problem and a big one. Many of these digital products aren't worth one pixel used to create them, despite their incredible claims on their sales' pages. Smart customers try to find reviews before they purchase by typing in the product name and the word “review” in search engines. This simple search used to work. However, the guru keyword advertisers have found ways to make money on these searches as well. You are now unable to find one legitimate review on any digital product. All of the major search engines, especially Google, is spammed with fake affiliate product reviews.

Some of these ads will state the name of the product and the word “Review” next to it, while the description promises a real review. But the link only takes you to the product page via an affiliate hyperlink! Another tactic is to promise real reviews, but the click is only led to a splash page which states how great the product is. These pages contain fabricated reviews! Fraudulent reviews are intended to get you to think the product is great and entice you to buy. Listed on these bogus review pages are affiliate links to the product itself. It is obvious that they are fake. Real human reviews would not contain so much marketing language and who on earth would pay to have Google Adwords display their reviews unless they only had one intention? To make money. These splash pages are often created by the product owner and copies can be found on their affiliate pages specifically for keyword advertisers and for the purpose of forged review advertising.

The worst tactic I have seen so far, and which probably work the best, are the ads which promise a real review of the product while touting the word “SCAM” somewhere in the title. Anyone looking for an honest review is apt to click on this ad. Little does the average surfer know that every single one of these ads is a scam itself. They just lead you to another fake review telling you how great the product is. No one in their right mind, anyhow, would pay for a Google ad to tell you NOT to buy this product. This is just another sad method to get you to click on their ad above others and potentially buy the product through their specific affiliate link. These product reviews are the scams!!!

What the web needs is an authentic digital product review website where visitors can log in and leave honest reviews. But they also need to be able TO FIND a place such as this. Http://www.downloadreviews.org is a new website where living and breathing people can read and leave human reviews for digital products such as ebooks and software. Users can also submit items for review in case they can't find the product they are looking for. Membership is free and is only needed to prevent product owners from leaving multiple and invented reviews on their own products. Besides, most products will surely get horrible reviews and this website will never make a penny off of them. It is a brand new website, so it needs user reviews and lots of them.

The problem still resides with Google Adwords and keyword advertising. Fake product reviews are something which should be banned. They are misleading and false. And it makes it all the more difficult for consumers to find the real product reviews. We can't stress it enough...Google...get rid of the FAKE PRODUCT REVIEW SPAM! These fake reviews aren't just found on search engine ads, but they are also posted on message boards and websites allowing people to leave any kind of message they want with specific meta tags as well.

People utilize these website to infest the web with these fake reviews and spam a little more. It seems like there is no escaping the cloud of falsified information now found on Google.

How to Write a Good Review

You see them everywhere; on the back of books or magazines, listed on websites, on posters if they are films and sometimes whole sites on the internet are geared to listing them for every conceivable product. So, what are they? And, why are they so important?

They are reviews and they are important because they help consumers decide whether or not they want to purchase that particular product or service. They are also an excellent marketing tactic for the companies or authors who request them. The trouble is, anyone can write a review but not everyone can write a good review. Quality will be the key factor in encouraging the consumer, to buy or not to buy that particular product, so that review must grab them almost straightaway.

So, how do you write a good review? Easy. Here are my Top 10 Tips to becoming a good and respected reviewer whatever the product. Please note these tips can apply to anything that you need to review. Some of the suggestions might even be obvious but you will be surprised at how often they are omitted:

1. The most important tip is to enjoy what you do. You must be an avid reader and enjoy discovering new talent and products. If you dont, it will show in your review and you are in the wrong job.

2. As you read or browse, make a mental note or write it down if you think you will forget, of specific areas of the product that spark something in you. This could be an act or situation in a novel that you can personally relate to. For example, I could relate to the title of one novel that I reviewed recently. I was interested to see if the title mirrored my own personal experiences. Whether it did or didn't, in the end, is immaterial but what I felt on a personal level was then added to the final review.

3. Think about what the product says to you as a reviewer. Do you hate it? Are there particular facts or information that you feel are incorrect e.g. historical dates or myths? Does it excite or anger you? What other emotions does it instil in you? As an example, I read and reviewed a novel some time ago, that stated, what I saw as, two incorrect historical facts. It didn't mean that I hated the novel, far from it, but it did mar my enjoyment of it. I stated my feelings in the final review, but unfortunately I received no acknowledgment that the author had received the completed piece. So, be warned. It does not automatically mean your opinions will be liked or accepted. You will, however, gain respect and a good and fair reputation as a reviewer. If you are not honest with yourself and/or your clients, then what is the point of the review?

4. One of my bad habits in writing is repeating the same word over and over again. Make use of a thesaurus to find another way of saying a similar thing.

5. Make sure you have all relevant information correct in your review. Sometimes, it can be easy to forget the name of a specific character in a novel, product name or even contact information for the author/webmaster. Check the facts again. Try not to make any errors in that respect otherwise it looks like you haven't even looked at the product or that you care about what you are reviewing.

6. If you are reviewing a novel or book, don't just write what the novel is about in your own words and have, at worst, one line of your own thoughts. Believe me I have seen reviews out there like this. This is an example of a very poor review. A review is an opinion; yours. The reader wants to know what you thought of the novel not just what the book or product is about even if it is written in your own words. Remember: That is what the synopsis is for!

7. Unless you are working for a review site that asks for this way of writing a review, dont mark separate areas of the novel or product with ratings or points. This method is extremely hard and boring to read. Reviews for books should be short and to the point. They are supposed to be designed to attract the buyer in a limited time. Reviews are not always the most exciting things to read unless you are looking for a specific item. Using this way of reviewing guarantees the loss of interest or sale for your client.

8. Develop your own style of writing. When I started reviewing I had to follow a set standard review format because that was what was required at the site I worked for. Over the years, I have stuck to this basic format but have developed my own style and pattern. Personalize your work.

9. Communicate with your clients. Have a happy, cheerful, friendly disposition and they will submit to you again in the future.

10. And, finally, have fun!

So, there you go. If you follow the tips above I can guarantee you will be well on your way to becoming a proficient reviewer.

Happy Reviewing!

Bad Consumer Product Review to deal with

A consumer product review is a vital part of ensuring the quality of a product. After all, who knows more about how it really works than the people who buy it? A consumer product review can be an invaluable asset when it comes to selling products and services. A customer recommendation will go a long way toward helping endorse a product and make it appealing to other consumers. On the other hand, a bad consumer product review can bring sales to a screeching halt.

It’s fear of a bad consumer product review that inspires many sites to remove product reviews from their web pages altogether. If consumers don’t have a chance to express their opinion, they won’t have the chance to give a bad product review. The problem with that logic is that consumers may assume sites that don’t include a consumer product review have something to hide. If they didn’t, wouldn’t they give their customers the chance to let them know what they think?

The best way to promote sales and still establish feelings of friendship and trust with your consumers isn’t to eliminate the chance of a bad consumer product review, it’s to deal with it. What stores do you respect more, those that sweep their customer complaints under the rug so as not to accumulate bad publicity or those that are open and honest and willing to fix their mistakes?

Here are some quick and easy tips to dealing with a bad consumer product review that will help you to keep your customers happy, your reputation intact and your consumer product review forum working the way it’s supposed to:

1) Always ensure that when you post the option to make a consumer product review you include a space for them to give you their contact information (preferably only by e-mail). Make this mandatory; you can’t fix a problem if you can’t reach the person who is having it.

2) Troll your review forums daily to locate bad reviews immediately.

3) As soon as you find a bad consumer product review, make note of it in your records. Include the consumer having the problem, the product or service that they purchased and the issues they are having. Chances are good that if the problem is associated with the product it will pop up again.

4) Note whether their complaint deals with your product or your service. Many consumers love their products, but if they have had a difficult time making a transaction with the company involved they will walk away unhappy.

5) Contact the consumer immediately and offer to work with them to correct the situation. Treat these complaints the same way you would a customer complaint if you were working in a physical store and they were able to speak to you face to face-assume that the customer is always right and do what you have to do to leave them happy with the situation. This may mean a refund, a repair (free of charge) or a product switch or upgrade.

6) Encourage them to post a recounting of their experience with you on the consumer product review forum to let other consumers know that you are a seller who is willing to do what it takes to do the job right

However, do not shy away from online shopping altogether. Eventually, you would realize that it could provide a truly worthwhile experience.

Online Reviews and Purchasing Behavior

Online reviews are gaining more credibility and are influencing more and more online buyers. According to Opinion Research Corp., 84% of Americans say online reviews influence their purchasing decision. Online reviews are more influential and come just only next to word-of-mouth publicity.

A majority of the respondents said that online reviews of a product or service given by the earlier users have an influence on their purchasing decision. 84% of the Americans say online reviews have influence on their purchasing behavior. But interestingly, only 24% of the respondents said that they posted a review on a product or a service. This means, a small portion of people are influencing a majority of the people’s buying behavior. Therefore, the people who write reviews are more vital in online publicity and ultimately in the process of online purchasing.

People are finding online forums helpful in learning about a product or a service. According to the report, 66% of the respondents said that they have visited some type of online forum while they are looking to purchase a specific brand of product or service. This point vindicates that small portion of the active participants dominate the user generated content. They are actively followed by the majority of the people who read the content and get influenced rather than contributing it.

User generated content is getting more and more important, as people trust on the feedback given by their fellow users. User generated content which is a result of social networking will gain more importance in the marketing and promotion strategies of the companies online as well as offline.

A lot of sites will reward you with points that you can save up and use to purchase items from a particular partner site. Some survey sites will enter your name in a monthly drawing for cash or points. So it is important that you research the payment methods if you want to earn money with surveys.Be careful of the survey sites that are scams. You want to make sure you thoroughly research the survey site before you sign up and give out your personal information. Some survey sites are nothing more than a cover to direct you to a page full of ads. They may require you to complete one or two offers before you are allowed to take a survey. Unless you really want to sign up for 5 more credit cards, stay away from these sites. When researching survey sites on the Internet, you will come across a lot of conflicting information. Some people will say that all survey sites are scams and it’s not worth your time, while others will say that they are able to make hundreds of dollars each month by taking surveys. That is why it is important to do research. It may take a while to find the survey sites that you can earn money from, but it will be worth it.

One of the best ways to find great surveys is to join a survey membership site. These membership sites will have done the research for you and have the best survey sites listed in their membership package. The membership fee can easily be recouped after taking just a couple of surveys.

Keep in mind that taking surveys is not for everyone. You have to really like to answer questions. It can sometime be monotonous, so if you are the type of person that hates to sit in front of the computer for very long, then surveys are probably not for you.

But if you are a college student or stay at home mom that needs extra cash, taking online surveys can be a great way to earn that extra cash. If you have a paypal account, the fastest way to get paid would be to find the surveys that will pay you through paypal. Earn money with surveys and be able to take care of those little extras in life that you need.

Find the Best Value with good product reviews

It’s not uncommon to ask a friend or neighbor how they like a particular item they have purchased. This could be a mixer, a grill, or any other item. People like to know what others think of a particular item before they go out and buy it. That’s the same thing with shopping online and e-commerce, except for the fact that you can’t easily ask your friend or neighbor what their experiences are.

That’s where product reviews come into play.
Surely, as you have been shopping online you have noticed under a product it’s star rating. Not all websites offer this, but many do, and this is where you can easily read reviews and see what others have to say about a product. Generally, if a product only has one or two ratings you can’t take the information 100% at face value. That’s because although many reviews are written by legitimate consumers, some are fake reviews to make the product look better than it is. So, when you are shopping online and using product reviews to help you make a decision you need to know what to look for. First of all, don’t look just at the star rating.

Actually read what the reviewers said. This will give you good insight into the product and whether it will work for you or not. For example, you may see a product rated at 4.5 stars, which is a great rating. However, when you begin reading the reviews you notice the lower ratings were given by people who complained the dimensions of the product were larger than specified on the box. If you have a tight space then this is important information to you and may change your mind as to whether or not you should buy the item. The same thing goes for software. What if the software has great reviews, but the reviews left were all by computer programmers? This might mean the product is more advanced than you would like to think or that you won’t be able to use it as it was intended.
When it comes to shopping online product reviews are truly the only way for individuals to get a good idea of what is good and not so good about an item they are interested in buying.

Keep in mind, too, that there are other websites that are in the business of writing reviews so you should do a little bit of research and see what various reviews say about a particular product before making a purchase. Putting in a little bit of effort on the front end will allow you to buy an item that is most likely to work for you and your needs.
