Earn Cash by Recommending Products Online

If you already visited Amazon, CNET or any other popular consumer website, you may already know what is a review. What I want to demonstrate here is the two kind of reviews on the Internet and how you can earn money from them.

These websites have the most traffic on the Internet because people always need to see what others have to say before they make a buying decision.

Remember the last time you bought something (online or offline), I'm almost sure you searched for someone else advice. Whether it' a friend or the salesman itself, you had to speak with someone to find out is the product was really made for you.

It happens the same way online. Whenever people come to a website that sells something, they have objections. They need to trust the product or service they are going to buy.

For this, they will read reviews of the products before they make their final purchase decision.

There are two kind of reviews on the Internet.

The first is a review made by the website owner. Basically, someone created a website, and added a link to a product he is reviewing for his reader.

Most of the time, the website owner does this for a profit. I mean that if you read the review on his website, then you click on his link and buy something, he will earn a percentage (commission) of the sales amount.

This is called affiliate marketing.

The problem with this kind of review is that sometime, the marketer will not tell the truth because his motivation is money, and not the end result for the website visitor.

Unfortunately, this happens all the time.

Don't get me wrong, this only represent a very small percentage of the webmasters who review products online.

The second type of reviews is called user generated reviews.

This type is the best because it's not the webmaster who is reviewing the products on the website but the consumer: you and others.

You are sure that real people used the product and therefore, you can trust the review and know more about the features and benefits of what you are going to buy.

Good, but how can you earn money from this as an affiliate marketer?

You need to mix the two to earn the maximum!

You set up a web 2.0 website with your affiliate links and just let people add the review on the site for you automatically.

There are several CMS platforms that allows to do this like Joomla and Wordpress for example.

This is really powerful and you should try it this week in your niche market.

Product Reviews for Ecommerce and its importants

Buying products online has a bad reputation from the many people who have really treated their customers badly. Since you can not just walk into a store talk directly to the manager or force the owners to speak with you, you are limited to phone calls, emails, or maybe not even this much in some cases. People online will not hesitate to tell others about their poor experiences to keep others from buying from any company that did not treat them right.

Since people are so skeptical of online businesses, they will frequently visit review sites before ever making a purchase. In fact, some will go to the degree of going to review sites before ever checking out their products or going to their website. For example, lets say I know that hundreds of business are selling computers online. I want to go with one of the more reputable businesses, so I will go find reviews on sites. Then I may go to their site and see if they have a computer that I am looking for. This is not an uncommon practice which means that your reviews can be crucial to your businesses success.

Reviews can help your ecommerce business gain credibility in the marketplace. This is especially the case if you are in a packed market where you are competing with several businesses. You should look forward to having numerous reviews, even if all of them are not positive. Others will note that you are doing business with other people, and therefore, you are not new to shipping items properly or handling online buyers.

The biggest thing you want to do online is create a buzz about your products or services. You want others to talk about what you are doing, how you treated them, and about where they purchased their product or service. This is referred to as “going viral”. If you find that others are talking about your business without you having to force them into a conversation, you will likely find your traffic growing substantially, and in return, more conversions into sales. This is the overall goal, and it can be jump started by positive reviews about your business.

So you may be asking, how do I get positive reviews or keep from getting negative ones? The biggest key to keeping your business on track is to go above and beyond in customer service. There is no doubt that you will run into some problems on occasion. You may ship a product and it might get smashed in shipping. You might get an email that they even received the wrong product. You will have some angry customers every now and then but you have to find the best way to deal with them. This may cost you some money out of your pocket, but this is far better than scratching it up as an unsatisfied customer. Rather, send them a free shirt, if you having shipping issues, let them mail it back, you cover costs, send the next item as a high priority mail and try to get it done as quickly as possible. You will find that instead of a negative review, they will more than likely take what was a bad situation and let others know how well you treated them when things were out of your own control. When going above and beyond what you have to do, you will see the appreciation given from your online buyers.

Product Reviews And Ecommerce

shopping online is at an all time high and it is foretasted to increase exponentially. This is because shopping online is easy, fast, and comparing prices is a cinch. The one drawback is that shoppers can’t feel the item in their hands. That’s where product reviews come into play. With product reviews shoppers are able to read what others thought about the item they purchased. The reason this is helpful is because shoppers are able to see what people thought the upside of the item was as well as the drawbacks. Sometimes, the reviews will contain enough information to help a shopper make a final decision.

For example, if someone buys a piece of jewelry online and then writes a review about how they returned it because it looked like costume jeweler then this will give others an idea of what they are purchasing. While it initially sounds like a bad review, those who are looking for costume jewelry will find it to benefit them in a positive way. Overall, everyone should read product reviews of an item before they make a purchase.

Also, there are professional product reviews that may be found online. These are reviews that professionals have written regarding the way the product actually works, feels, and performs. Generally, you can find product reviews of this type on high end electronics, games, software, and the like. Many of the websites that host these types of reviews also give the item a star rating and then let the site users rate the product, too. In many cases, you will find the professionals rank the item lower than everyday users. Why? Simply because they expect more! Nevertheless, reading these product reviews will help you get a good understanding about a particular item and whether it works for your circumstances or not. This is especially the case when it comes to software, computers, and related products. Many of the ratings are based on an individuals’ experience s with the item in question. When the reviewer explains in detail why a product works, it why it doesn’t work, then this arms you with the information you need to make a good decision.

Overall, product reviews are a wonderful way to make shopping online a positive experience and will allow you to buy products that fit in with your needs. Take care not to give much thought to reviews that have a star rating but no reason why. This is important because a 5 star rating with no review doesn’t mean anything. If it was so great, why can’t the reviewer say what was great about it? Similarly, a single star rating shouldn’t be thought about too much either because if the item was so bad the buyer should have been able to put that into words. There are some reviews on the web that are artificial and made up, but many of them are real so do your research before shopping online. It will be worth it!

Scamed Home Business Review Sites

Home Business Review websites are the current rage in the Internet marketing world and many including myself use them. But, the questions is do the majority of them provide solid information or are they just another self-serving home business scam?

The Good

Many of the Home Business Review sites provide some valuable content and for the new or seasoned home business owner provide a quick yet informative glimpse into many of the online and home based opportunities available today.

For the Internet marketer, business review sites provide an opportunity to place higher on the search engines and divide their marketing campaigns into broader areas in which to attract visitors to their sites. This concept and how it actually works is slightly complicated for the beginner, but easily grasped by most who have spent a while in the Internet marketing field.

The Bad

Now that you have attracted a visitor to your review site, you may potentially lose that visitor to a home business or opportunity other than yours.

Here’s why: You attracted a visitor to your site to read a review on some GURU or home business opportunity, your betting on the fact that the visitor will want to see what you’re doing and at least take a look at your business. Problem is, that may never happen and they will leave your site to find more information on the GURU or home business. For me, it’s a chance I’m willing to take.

The Ugly

Many reviewers are not honest and will provide bad if not horrible reviews on every home business opportunity or GURU they review. SO, here’s a tip, go through a few of the reviews on each site. If nothing is recommended as a legitimate home business opportunity or Guru other than what’s making the reviewer a million dollars today, look somewhere else.

The hope with most, if not all of these review sites is that you will find the reviewers opportunity most interesting and sign up with them. Yes it is self-serving, but if the reviewer is ethical you will find more than a few of the home business or GURU reviews are favorable.

So, what does all this mean for someone searching home business review sites for a new opportunity? All of them are slightly biased, mine included. But, an ethical reviewer will provide good honest content on all of their reviews. But the bottom line is this is only an opinion. I’ve had great success with some businesses and crashed and burned with others. But I’ll bet the businesses that I found to be horrible, someone somewhere made a ton of money from; get the picture?

Truth is, there are quite a few home businesses that are making people a good amount of money and still producing, even in a down economy. Many of the GURU’s, the people at the top, have great marketing ideas, just one of which may be worth its weight in gold to you.

In conclusion, if you find a home business opportunity with favorable reviews, look further, use common sense and trust you gut. If the reviewer doesn’t blast every home business opportunity other than their own, chances are their reviews (although they are only and opinion) are pretty ethical.

Sign of good Buyer – Checks for Reviews

When financial resources begin to become scarce, the buying market starts to wise up and become very price conscious of their purchases. This makes it hard for many companies to persuade them to see the real value of their products and services. Opinionated customers tend to share information and insights on good deals and the best buys. This is also applicable in businesses dealings wherein a supplier with good reviews will earn the trust and business of a company. Trust is a very importance issue during recessional financial situations and hence must be carefully addressed by companies who wish to survive the current economic slump.

One good way to address the issue of convincing wise buyers to prefer your brand is through reviews.

Here are some of the key factors that wise buyers look for in a review as indicators of honest content.

1. Source

A wise buyer considers the originator of a review to validate its authenticity. business owners should clearly state their company names. Wise buyers will follow that trail and if the source checks out, then the content is valid for consideration.

2. Comment

It is important to wise buyers that the company they are buying from has no bad records. One bad review is all they need to feel unattached to your business.

3. Exemption

A review content that has an exemption is a sign of a very good source of information. This is because a comment that purely praises can be doubtful, but when it has a “but”, “although” or “maybe”, the commentator reviewed both negative and positive sides of their services. Overall it must remain a positive comment and the exemptions must be minimal to gain more business.

4. Specific Detailed Examples

It is also nice to mention specific details to the jobs done for a customer in order for others to relate to its content. reviews containing a balanced amount of information that customers can connect with. People and business that share a specific situation like a brochure they need done with 3 panels and full color. Those mentions build the confidence level of a review.

5. Visual Samples

Mentioning the specific details of the jobs done for others may not be enough to seal the deal for some buyers. In cases like these, reviews combined a sample of the print project mentioned in the content reviewed. Now not only would the buyer see the honesty in the review, but also see the results of the job done.

Benefits of a Good Review

When you want to buy something, you normally ask family and friends for their opinions. They in turn give you their insight regarding your intended purchase. These important and vital pieces of advice from your closest peers carry deeper value than those of a salesman inside any store. Depending on the reliability of the source and their knowledge of the topic, the advice from a real person still outweighs paid commentary.

Many other companies have yet to discover the many advantages of a good review like uprinting reviews. That is why I have written this article to help enlighten you about why it’s important for your business to get honest reviews.

1. A good review is a source of pride
Getting praised for doing a good job instills a sense of pride and joy on anyone. That is why a good review can give your company a sense of pride and maintain high levels of quality.

2. A good review is a good survey source
Getting a good review also answers key questions on how the company is performing. Some comments specifically mention the strong points of a business.

3. A good review is the best advertisement
As long as the review is unbiased, it is the best kind of advertisement around. Not only can people relate to the comments, but also build an empathic attachment with the commentator.

It is however important that these reviews be carefully monitored and the standards that have made your company a success upheld. A negative review can be a lethal to your company, but properly maintained, you can reap the rewards of high sales and brand popularity.
